► Arif Ahmed - Founder, CEO & President

As Principal Founder, CEO and President of e-BizSoft, Inc., Arif is responsible for the company's overall strategy, organization and operations. With more than 25 years of experience in the information technology sector, Arif founded e-BizSoft in 2000 and has led the successful development and expansion of the company, which has served more than 60 clients and now employs more than 100 people in North America and abroad.

Prior to starting e-BizSoft, Arif built an impressive career in the IT industry. In his most recent position as vice president and chief information officer at e-Chemicals, Arif created and led the technology strategy that powered the company's premier B2B Website. Before joining e-Chemicals in 1998, Arif managed the Y2K program for Knight Ridder's thirty newspapers. Prior to Knight Ridder, Arif was the director of integrated logistics for Ryder Integrated Logistics, where he managed the development of new logistics and supply chain management systems and the market introduction of products and services. During his illustrious career he has worked at other prestigious organizations including Digital Equipment Corporation, Westinghouse, KPMG Peat Marwick, Ford and Schlumberger in different technical and managerial positions.

Arif is one of only two recipients (out of 110 nominees world-wide) of the prestigious British Petroleum (BP) Breakthrough Award 2000 for his leadership in designing and delivering a cutting-edge B2B marketplace ASP solution for industrial chemical procurement. Arif has also been honored with an “Excellence Award for Customer Satisfaction” from Digital Equipment Corporation and a “Customer Satisfaction Award” from Metro Information Services in Michigan.

Arif holds a bachelors degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.

► Ashir Ahmed - Co-founder & Vice President of Operations

As vice president of operations, Ashir is responsible for managing the company's offshore offices and development facilities. He manages all aspects of e-BizSoft's development centers including HR, administration, development operations, and infrastructure. Ashir brings over 15 years of experience in software development and senior management positions from a variety of organizations.

Prior to co-founding e-BizSoft, Ashir worked with Pakistan Steel Mill and Crescent Software Products (CresSoft) in Pakistan. At his last position with CresSoft, Ashir was the development manager of its Karachi center. During his tenure with CresSoft he helped expand the Karachi center from 25 developers to over 100 developers. He also worked with Cyber Internet Services, Pakistan's largest internet service provider as development manager. Ashir specialized in consulting on projects specifically for the telecommunication industry for Fortune 500 companies including The Cable & Wireless Group, Time-Warner Communications, Philips Semiconductor and MCI.

Ashir holds bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering from the NED University of Engineering & Technology in Pakistan, and The University of California at Berkley, respectively.

► Muhammad Usamah Siddiqi - Co-founder & Vice President of Services

As vice president of services, Muhammad is responsible for defining the company's strategy with respect to its products and services, management of customer accounts, customer relationship management, services-related operations, partnerships, and assisting with business development. Muhammad brings over 13 years of experience in development and senior management positions from different organizations in the United States and Pakistan.

Prior to co-founding e-BizSoft, Muhammad worked with Crescent Software Products (CresSoft) in both the Pakistan and United States offices. He held the positions of a senior engineer, project manager and customer accounts manager. While at CresSoft he was awarded the company's Excellence Award for outstanding performance for two consecutive years, chosen from among 400 people. He has worked as a consultant for American Express Travel Services, Time-Warner Cable and e-Chemicals. He led the professional services team as a senior manager for Quest Technologies in Florida before co-founding e-BizSoft. He has written in newspapers and magazines on topics ranging from crafting national IT policies to trends in IT.

Muhammad holds a bachelors degree in computer science from the University of Karachi in Pakistan.

► Faisal Amin - Director of Development

As director of development, Faisal is responsible for leading all software development aspects including analyzing and architecting solutions, putting the latest tools and technologies to use and leading the company's distributed development team. Faisal brings 10 years of experience in software development and management from a variety of organizations.

Prior to joining e-BizSoft, Faisal was the deputy software development manager at eWorx where he led the development team and co-managed most of the company's offshore projects in Pakistan; he specialized in architecting enterprise application integration, business process automation and collaboration projects. Before this Faisal was with Crescent Software Products (CresSoft) in Pakistan and the United States where he held the position of a principal software engineer and worked on a variety of projects related to B2B e-commerce frameworks, ERP, workflow management and asset management. He has worked as a consultant for Aspen Technologies in the United States.

Faisal has a bachelors degree in mathematics and was awarded a masters degree in computer science, summa cum laude (gold medalist), from the University of the Punjab in Pakistan.
